Paulo Bellinati presents some of the main musical styles of Brazil including Lundu, Modinha, Schottisch, Bolero, Seresta, Maxixe, Baião, Maracatu, Frevo, and Xaxado, and recreates them using modern compositionals techniques and harmonies. A wonderfull set of works which reveals Bellinati to be a master guitar composer. The CD was finalist for the 1998 PREMIO SHARP awards as best instrumental soloist. |
